Anil Kapoor, who bought the rights of American TV show "24", says that he is already working on the cast along with director Abhinay Deo, a proper set has been built for the show and that the cameras will soon roll.
"The shooting will start soon. One of the sets is ready too. It's near Kurla (a suburb here). Rest is outdoor shoots. We will be shooting all over Mumbai," Anil told IANS.
"It's not a reality show, it's fiction... but such a show has never happened before and will surely be liked by the audience," he said and added that his intention is not to elbow out 'saas-bahu' sagas.
"I feel that it will be a good show and will do well. If there is a good 'saas-bahu' story that will do well too. Everything has a saturation point, then you come back and they will do well. There was a time when people just didn't want to see action," he said.
Anil says viewers are intelligent and ready to accept good content.
"We underestimate the audience. If you give them something nice, they will lap it up. If you see, films like 'Barfi!' 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' or even 'Race'...today people are ready to accept if you give them something different, but interesting. So I think, you should go on making things you believe in and leave it for them (viewers) to decide," he said.
