Actor Ajay Devgn believes that 30-40 years from now people will forget stars like him because in the film industry what is out of sight goes out of mind.
"We are currently here and we are in front of the media and people, but I don't think 30-40 years from today people would remember stars like us. There have been instances, there have been stars in the past, who the current generation does not remember and have forgotten (them)," the 43-year-old told reporters here on the occasion of being inducted into UTV Stars' Walk of the Stars.
"They have been much bigger stars than what we are and if you can have all of them there (Walk of the Stars) so that their memory remains. I think they should live on, so it's a fabulous thing to do," added Ajay referring to the Walk of the Stars.
"I am over the moon because my hand print gets to be with some of the biggest stars in our country today. I feel really honoured and privileged that I got the opportunity so early in my career. So, I just like to thank UTV Stars Walk of the Stars," Sonakshi said.

Ajay doesn't have to worry about being forgotten. He's done some amazing films and he's a terrific actor. Your work is your legacy and it will live on. But there are way too many forgettable unimpressive actors in Bollywood today who won't be remembered in 30-40 years. The work of talented actors makes them memorable. Ajay Devgn is just one among those few talented actors in the industry today!
i agree with him
no one remembers dilip kumar !!!
he is a legendary actor
and rajesh khanna who is said to be the 1st super star of the industry was only remembered when the news of his death was out
i totally agree out of sight out of mind !!!
Until one of them dies, no one really thinks about them. i.e Rajesh Khanna
If Amitabh Bachchan stopped working, who would remember him? Since he continues working, people worship him (KBC). He is smart; by staying in the spotlight, his son's career also stays afloat
Don't Know about others but I'm Not gonna forget Ajay, Never! =D

I agree with Ajay, actors like Rajendra Kumar, Joy Mukherjee, Raaj Kumar are hardly known to the newer generation and even the older generation tends to forget. Just last week a movie was on of Kumar Gurav and when I told my mom whose son he was she looked at me weird until I sang "yeh mera prem patra pad kar" then she remembered Rajendra Kumar
