Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 6 (IANS) Actress Swetha Menon's 40-day-old daughter Sabaina was the cynosure of all eyes at the State Film Awards held here.
Swetha, who recieved best actress award for her performance in film "Salt and Pepper", came to collect the honour along with Sabaina, and it was the little angel who caught all the attention. The award was given by Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy at the ceremony Monday.
The best actor award went to Dileep for his performance in "Vellari Pravinte Changathy", while the best feature film award went to Shaji Natesan's "Indian Rupee". The best director award was given to Blessy for the film "Pranayam".
The award for best female playback singer went to Shreya Ghoshal and best male playback singer to Sudeep.
Guinness Pakru loves directing
Actor-director Guinness Pakru, who is set to begin his new directorial venture "Kuttiyum Kolum", loves to be behind the camera.
He hopes he continues to weild the megaphone even in future. The actor-director revealed his plans while speaking about the film, which goes on floors Thursday.
In "Kuttiyum Kolum", Guinness Pakru also plays the lead role, while actress Sanusha plays his love interest.
Bhagath, Ananya to star in 'Sadharanakkaran'
Actors Bhagath and Ananya have been roped in to play the lead in new film "Sadharanakaran", directed by Raj Babu.
Other actors in the film are Biju Menon, Sreenivasan, Lal and Tini Tom.
The shoot of the movie will begin Nov 15 in Kochi.
