Chennai, Oct 26 (IANS) The maker of upcoming Tamil comedy "Settai", a remake of adult comedy "Delhi Belly", claims that it will be a youthful and family entertainer.
"Our screenplay is slightly different from the Bollywood version and is intended to reach out to larger audience. 'Settai' has unlimited comedy and moreover there won't be any offensive language used in any of the scenes. The dialogues would be funny and entertaining at best," Govind Dhananjayan, Chief - South Business, Disney-UTV told IANS.
The film is nearing completion and is likely to hit the theatres early next year.
"We've completed about 75 percent of the film. 20 days of shoot is left. As of now, we are planning for January 2013 end or Febuary 14 release", Dhananjayan added.
Directed by R. Kannan, "Settai" stars Arya, Premgi Amaren, Santhanam, Anjali, Hansika Motwani and Nasser in the lead.
Which will be the most liked character in the film?
"We cannot single out anyone like that because each character is akin to the plot of the film and the audience will love their performances," said Dhananjayan.
S.S. Thaman has been roped in to compose the music for the film, which has six songs, out of which five will be feature in the movie.
