Actress-turned-director Pooja Bhatt says she is tired of watching caricature of gay people in Hindi movies.
"Maybe some day we will portray gay people in Hindi films with the dignity they deserve. Tired of seeing them only used to evoke laughter," tweeted Pooja.
Even her half-sister Alia's debut "Student of The Year" (SOTY), features Rishi Kapoor as a gay, with humorous overtones. His look is also homosexual - he is seen in pink shirts and lilac ties, which are typically a fun way of looking at those without a straight sexual orientation.

i agree 100% very rightly said, i dnt even find it funny rather find it quite obnoxious and rude
I loved Sameer Soni's character in Fashion, perhaps Pooja should watch that movie, things are changing slowly and surely but one can't expect a KJo movie to not be OTT.

unfortunately or not where I come from(North America) most gay men act femininely and have a certain air about them ... i don't blame show biz for stereotyping homosexuals ... thats how most of em are ...
