Veteran actor Vinod Khanna was more than accomodating when Randhir Kapoor's daughter Kareena's wedding loomed large, and the father of the bride had to take a chunk of time off from the shooting schedule of their new film.

Vinod and Randhir will be seen together in Prabhu Deva's untitled love story. And they hit it off very well.

Such was not the scene when they worked together as hero and villain 38 years ago in the blockbuster "Haath Ki Safaai". They barely exchanged pleasantries on the sets. But now when they work together for the new film, in and around Pune, the two veterans often make the director waiting till they they wrap up their conversation before a shot.

When Randhir needed a break for the five-day celebrations of Kareena's wedding with actor Ali Khan">Saif Ali Khan, Vinod happily obliged.

"Dabbooji (Randhir) and Vinodji have all their scenes together. They play best friends in the film and are inseparable on location both on and off camera. Vinodji immediately agreed to wait for his co-star to finish with the family wedding," said a source from the unit.

Prabhu Deva said: "Vinodji and Randhirji share a fabulous equation. We had to adjust our schedule according to the wedding. There was no stress. Vinodji was completely accommodating."
