'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' animated version on hold

Filmmaker Karan Johar, who wanted to make an animated version of his hit directorial debut "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai", says he has now kept the project on hold.

    i dont know if indian audiences like to see a kutta and billi romanceLOL...i wish they first got some human animated characters and stories first...

    for me no movie can beat Disneys Lady and the Tramp and thats a really high benchmark to achieve!

    animation is not working because you guys convert movie characters into dogs and cats. no one wants to pay to go see dog/cat romance.
