Actor Farhan Akhtar has decided to donate to charity the Rs.15 lakh endorsement fee from the Tata group.
The 38-year-old gave a voiceover for three Tata Group commercials. In return the company decided to pay him Rs.15 lakh.
"I have the highest regard for Ratan Tata (Tata Group chairman) and his philanthropic nature. Since this is my first personal association with his group, I felt it would be right to do (charity)," Farhan said.
The director-actor will reportedly give the money to Shabana Azmi's Mijwan Welfare society and Magic Bus.
Farhan has endorsed several brands like Pureit Marvella RO and McDowell's No 1.
