Reliance Entertainment Digital, digital arm of Reliance Entertainment, Tuesday launched Malayalam films in their online movie-on- demand service, said a company official.
The movies are available on www.bigflix.com.
Speaking to IANS over phone from Mumbai, Manish Agarwal, CEO, Reliance Entertainment Digital, said that they are offering 200 Malayalam films.
"In the next 90 days, we will add another 200 Malayalam films and it would be a mixture of new, old and classical films. These films can be watched using a single-use id and password from anywhere on any system including tablets," said Agarwal.
Bigflix, an online movie on demand service, allows users to stream and download HD catalogue of over 1000 movies. The monthly charge is Rs.249 in India and $4.99 for those abroad.
Reliance Entertainment is part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG).
