Filmmaker Karan Johar feels "talentless" after watching Anurag Basu's "Barfi!" and says it would be an "honour" to work with actor Ranbir Kapoor who has excelled as a deaf and mute boy in the movie.
"I just saw 'Barfi!'...I have never felt more limited, inferior and talentless. Anurag Basu is the god of all filmmakers... his genius is 'Barfi!'," Johar tweeted.
"Ranbir Kapoor has given the most outstanding performance... he deserves a running ovation! It will be an honour to work with him," he further tweeted.
Johar also heaped praises on Priyanka Chopra for her portrayal of an autistic girl.
"Priyanka Chopra is just brilliant as Jhilmil. Superbly nuanced and pitch perfect. Her portrayal lingers long after the film.. Well done Ileana D'Cruz !!! Superb debut... and Kudos to all at UTV for this masterpiece that defines the barometer of modern cinema," he added.

I failed to understand if this movie was a love story, a mystery or a comedy..basically a khichi of all...the film was good only in parts..some moments were nice but overall...it lacked the grip to glue me as an audience for 2.5 hrs..these are just my thoughts...no offense...I am a big big Ranbir Kapoor fan..the only USB of the film. The actors are the only USB of the film.

what a film Barfi! ...without any doubt wat so ever this film should get best film of the year award..and the actors Ranbir and Priyanka should get best lead roles...what amazing performance they both gave n coz the new comer aswell...anyone can act but acting disable with such ability that for a sec you would really think that they are disable...mindblowing performance ..brilliant film...everyone should watch it xx

@cherry_ik - what are you shocked about? It being a slow paced movies? It's a brilliant movie and Ranbir, PC and Illena gave outstanding performances.

Barfi is a great film. As for Karan, while I don't particulalry like his kind of cinema, i have to give him credit for always being very generous in praising everything that is new or exciting, be it Barfi, Delhi Belly and so on.

I agree with KJo! Anurag Basu is a cinematic genius! The movie was just beautiful! Ranbir was outstanding in every scene! Priyanka was superb as an autistic girl! Ileana was beautiful and mesmerizing!
Both directors are talented in their own genres.

Ranbir was my fvt..and movie was good bt i feel dat movie has dragged too much and bfr intervals nythn happened..a little confusing...n think is that thr is no nyd of bringing Pc character..one character was enf..Rabir as a deaf person and again pc as autistic girl. bt i must say awsome acting by all casts
