He is a known face on both the small and big screens. Aanjjan Srivastav, who will be seen as a politician in Shirish Kunder's "Joker", says he now aspires to do films that revolve around international subjects.
"I don't mind what the part is, I want meaty roles. Whether it is commercial or non-commercial cinema, I want a film with an international subject," he said.
What about directing a Bollywood film?
"I don't want to direct movies right now. But I do plan to direct a play," Aanjjan told IANS.
" 'Joker' is not a big role for me, but it is a very important role in the film," he told IANS and elaborating on his character, he added: "There are three politicians in the film but none of them are interested in a particular piece of 'no man's land'. But after they come to know that some scientific developments is going on that land, everyone wants it."
