"The only zero I am associated with is the zero cholesterol and zero trans-fat that are feature of Aliva snacks... and yes, the zeroes that come in my cheque," Vidya quipped on being asked if she would ever endorse the size zero figure.
"I like the curvaceous Indian woman's body. And if I may say so, I am well-endowed," she added.
The 33-year-old was here Thursday for the official announcement of her appointment as brand ambassador of a new range of snacks brand Aliva, from the Pepsico stable.
Dressed in a shocking pink sari teamed with her trademark elbow-length sleeved blouse, Vidya looked elegant, and her vibrant, fun-loving mood justified her choice of colour.
Vidya says she likes to flaunt a mix of traditional and modern.
"A part of me is very traditional, which is why you see me wearing a lot of saris. But a part of me will always wear these low-back blouses," she said, as she sat up to show her deep cut back of her blouse to the audience.

ya what else can she possibly say? after doing vulgar scenes in dirty picture, she has to keep justifying her figure in each and every interview.. Sick of her!! :-|
They all look the same to me
Size 0 -- No Not really, Cuz you would be dead then.
Something like, Naturally/ Thin but size 0 is way way beyond one's imagination. :/
Starving yourself and shit doesnt work.
My POV tells me, you're still full of curves even when you're 'size 0'
No offense people.

Ok honestly I am sick of people constantly picking on Size 0, that's great that a woman is curvaceous and all but unfortunately their do exist some women in this world who are naturally thin and a size 0. I am one of them. I can eat and eat and not gain a pound. If I don't eat my full big meals and snacks for even a day I loose 2 pounds. I am not happy with it because I too wish to be curvy, but I am still healthy then many curvaceous women out there. So seriously I would appreciate it if people would also appreciate naturally thin women.
Okay ifirst i would just like to say i agree that no one should be anorexic etcc and starve themselves for purpose of jus being size 0 n coming into the social pressures. However, vidya curves are good but being a healthy weight, less stomach, lessfat, all of that makes for good health! And if thats done correctly a smaller size come along as well. An theres notbing wrong with that. Curves are still gonna e there. What vidya i think meant to say was hari bari or vuluptuous and that comes with most likely not eating completely healthy... No offense but i think vidya herself fits in the latter category thats why she is in support of it all.
I am glad she has this kinda attitude ..there's nothing wrong with having curves and flaunting them (: It's pretty commendable actually. However I do have to say that not every skinny person is anorexic or unhealthy either, some people just have a good metabolism (doesn't apply to all actresses who are size zero though but yeh).
lots of love to you vidya for proudly representing the true image of majority of women in India. sad to see that a handful of skinny actresses are the role models for so many girls and they don't even look healthy ): CURVES FTW! :D
If you have curves flaunt them ;) Vidya is right, curvy women look far better than size zero women. No one likes to see people with a stick figure, and big bobbly head (referring to Kareena).
vidya is right...curvaceous womens are much hotter than size zero ones!!
Size zero is just unhealthy and aneroxic
