bebo very proud of u on this
she is so correct
apart from vidya none has gone proper chance to showcase their talent and can be called as hero
bebo too got a chance but i seriously believe all great actresses of bollywood need this chance
next i defo want PC to again give a fab performance she gave in fashion and SKM
but i don't want heroines to compare them with heroes and tries to be like them but i want them to set their unique identity

Money obilously depends on the role and I haven't seen many movies where it the plot revolves around a woman and there no guy saving her all the time. Especially where action is required but hopefully it is changing.
And you are right 3 Idiots, Bodygaurd and Ra.One werent your movies, they were more of the Khan's movies. Glad you are not talking false credits.
okay kareena, we understand you want to make a better mark in the film industry but you won't achieve that by thrashing other stars or demanding more money that you really don't need and can donate to the homeless
Maybe she is right with regard to the inequality thing, but her examples defeated her point IMO.
In 3 idiots and Ra.One, she did not have much of a role as compared to the Khans. In Bodyguard maybe, the screen-time was kinda equal but definitely not 3 idiots and Ra.One. So the difference in pay cheque would actually make complete sense.
But I do think there should be more women-centric movies (which would then, incidentally, lead to an improvement of the pay cheque situation), and I'm glad the trend is changing :) Looking forward to 'Heroine.'
I also think that it's such a BS double-standard that brilliant actresses are made to retire/get less roles, once they're in their late 30s while their erstwhile co-stars can romance girls who are literally half their age (and very often suck at acting).
I guess that's kind of changing too. Like with Karishma's come-back and all. But there should be definitely more of that!
