I fear that one day my children will hate indian clothes and language and the culture. It makes me feel very sad. I am happy that India is getting influenced by the "WEST" but we Indians still need to preserve our culture.
She is right there is nothing wrong in western culture...but you have remember the Indian culture and the limits one should stay in. In the name of the "west culture", we now see some shameless acts in our culture also...which is what is wrong...
When we talk about adapting to western clothes, I'm very open to most of them, except bikinis (i think most people consider it western).. most of the time, i find it very pathetic when there is a unnecessary scene in a movie that involves an actress wearing bikinis just to show how "sexy" and "hot" they look.
Even though i find Sonam annoying at times (some interviews), i have to admit she looks very pretty. She looks very beautiful in every movie, especially Aisha and I Hate Luv Stories..
I'm really looking forward to "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag"
I think Western influences are fine in moderation. But the problem is that once you start allowing the influence, it's near to impossible to stop it right before it esculates and gets out of hand.
