Raj Kumar Santoshi's new romantic comedy featuring Abhay Deol and Sonam Kapoor goes on the floors Feb 1.
When quizzed about the untitled film, Santoshi said: 'It's in the same creative space as my 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani'. Abhay and Sonam would be captured in a comedy of errors like Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, though this is a completely different script and has no bearing on 'Ajab Prem...''
However, it is being said that Santoshi had planned the film as a follow-up to 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' with Ranbir and Katrina.
As for the once-warring couple, a source said: 'Anil Kapoor and Santoshi go back a long way to Santoshi's 'Lajja'. Anil was supposed to do 'Power' with Santoshi in 2011. That project didn't take off. It was he who suggested to Santoshi that he do a film with Sonam.'
Abhay came into the project through Santoshi's long association with the Deols. This will be Abhay-Sonam's second film together post 'Aisha'.
The cinematography would be in the hands of ace-cameraman Ravi K. Chandran.
Santoshi would be producing the film.

I'm so happy with this news...looking forward to this movie. I loved APKGK with all it's cuteness and silliness. And love this onscreen pairing as well...their pairing has a dreamy and 'can't have you even when I want you/forbidden' sort of quality to it. Just hope they are in the same frame together more than they were in Aisha. Also, hope the script is fab and does not let them down like it did in Aisha. And lastly, Sonam! Please improve your dialogue delivery in this movie...pleeeaaase! I don't want anything to deter me in enjoying this movie and their chemistry. :)
