Mumbai, April 13 (IANS) Veteran screenwriter Sachin Bhowmick, who was part of the Hindi film industry for over five decades, passed away at his home here Tuesday. He was 82.
'He had not been keeping well for a very long time and yesterday afternoon suffered a heart attack, which took his life,' said a source.
Bhowmick started his career by writing the screenplay for Mohan Segal's Nargis starrer 'Lajwanti' in 1958. He then went on to write for blockbuster films like 'An Evening In Paris', 'Love In Tokyo', Aradhna', 'Golmaal', 'Ziddi', 'Karz' and also newer films like 'Koi Mil Gaya' and 'Krrish' among others.
