New Delhi, Oct 27 (IANS) Director Avtar Bhogal, who had earlier directed films like 'Zakhmi Aurat' and 'Aaj Ki Aurat', returns to big screen with 'Honour Killing'.
'Honour killings cannot be tolerated in any civilised society. Stiff punishment should be awarded to the perpetrators of such crime,' Bhogal said in a statement.
Inspired by real life incidents, 'Honour Killing' features Prem Chopra, Gulshan Grover along with Pakistani model-turned actress Zara Sheikh and actor Javed Sheikh. It will hit the screens soon.
'We have made this film to highlight this horrendous crime and create awareness among the people,' he said.
Uttam Singh has composed the music, while Dev kohli has penned lyrics for the film.
