New Delhi, May 1 (IANS) Stand-up comedian and actor Vir Das experienced a not-so-comic situation in real life when he got a scolding from 'Badmaash Company' director Parmeet Sethi.

Vir has a penchant for getting tattoos on his body but since most of the scenes in the movie involve Vir being shirtless on the beaches of Bangkok, he had to spend hours in the makeup room covering the tattoos.

While shooting in Bangkok, Vir decided to opt for one more tattoo on his arm, a decision that made Parmeet scold him as he had to spend extra time in covering the new one, holding up the shoot for an even longer period.

'Yes, I did get a tattoo done in Bangkok and Parmeet did scold me for it but it was nothing serious and it was all in good humour. Parmeet and I hit it off right from the first day of shoot,' said Vir.

The film, also starring Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Chang, is slated to hit the screens May 7.

Vidya Malavade floored by Salman Khan

Actress Vidya Malavade, who interviewed superstar Salman Khan for a show, was completely floored by the actor's grace and politeness.

'Salman was extremely gracious and polite. Initially I was intimidated by his persona, but he is a real soft hearted person. I was in fact floored by his charm and wit. It was like a dream come true for me since I had always wanted to work with him and I am a huge fan of his,' said Vidya.

Vidya was hosting an episode of 'STAR CINTAA - Superstars Ka Jalwa', a joint initiative by STAR India Pvt. Limited and Cine & TV Artist Association (CINTAA). It is a fund-raising show for which 52 actors have come together to raise funds for needy artists.

While shooting for the interview, Salman was asked to pretend to get offended by one of Vidya's questions and threaten to walk out. But Salman refused to do so. Instead he was his charming self, jovial throughout the interview.

When Anuuj Saxena saved co-star Tarina Patel

Actor-producer Anuuj Saxena turned into a real life saviour when he saved his 'Chase' co-star Tarina Patel as she fell into Srinagar's Dal Lake while shooting for a song in the film.

The pair was shooting a romantic song sequence on a shikara when Tarina lost her balance and fell into the water.

'Kashmir is a paradise that's why we chose it over other options for the romantic song. Shooting in a shikara was also an interesting experience but while standing in the boat, Tarina lost balance and fell in the Dal Lake and in attempt to rescue her I also fell into the water. Luckily the water was not cold and I know swimming so I could save her,' said Anuuj.

The film, which released on April 30, also stars Udita Goswami, Samir Kochar, Aditya Raj Kapoor, Tarina Patel, Rajesh Khattar and Shweta Menon.
