@ sabreena: Totally agree
i mean i didnt find her look offensive but the part about wearing a turban when your in your 20's is true. But my cousin always wore a patka..unless he had to go outside of the house of course
and omg jo bole so nihaal? total disgrace!
hmm and i didnt even notice the Guru's picture in the barber shop...but that is seriously wrong! haha woww we're not even supposed to cut our hair and they put a picture of baba-ji in the barber shop lol
That's ridiculous! What loads of propaganda NONESENSE! When playing cricket, Harbhajan "pajee" Mann wears a patka, so why would the Sikh community get upset?!???!!!! It is hard to support a turban while playing cricket, thats why most to all sardars wear a patka ANYWAYS!!! HELLO!!!!!
In order to get publicity, please don't involve the SIKH community. Sikhs are proud of the fact that they are being represented so well in Bollywood. It was long over due, and they would never get upset over such a measley issue. SO PLEASE STOP involving the Sikhi community!
are you really serious, I mean, These so called hardcore sikhs, who raises their voice for this little stuff need to come to USA and UK, and see what their Sikh Community is going through, especially with youth, Patka the symbol of Sikh Youth doesn't exist, and on top of that, If new young sikh guy comes to USA, within one year, he takes off his patka to look cool and blend in american community, that is the reality and i have seen it in New York, alot. i mean they are just after actors and actresses, come on already... give them a break and look amongst yourselves.
This movie will rock it all.
Really people more important issues out there as hunger; war; etc etc than this. Why always issues on this. Really crazy. It's just a movie it's not promoting that all women dress up as a man and so forth. gosh!!!!!!! They should be proud more movies are coming out surrounding sikhism. Granted not all are correct but it's a movie not a documentary
I have many Sikh friends, and they are not offended by it...and infact they take pride in an actor portraying a sikh person..I don't understand some people, they stretch their own mentality upon others..I don't think any sikh has problems, this people seem to be just looking for some cheap publicity
