2010 is almost a done and dusted affair. We now have the pleasure of waiting for the New Year, along with its new batch of entertaining films. So here is BollyCurry bringing you a sneak peak of the movies that are set to hit our big screens in 2011. 


Impatient Vivek

This movie is about a simple boy who meets a beautiful girl. Like most romances, he falls heads over heels for her in typical unrequited love. But the twist happens when the boy kidnaps her. From there on, a topsy-turvy road will take them to their destiny.
 
Directed by Rahat Kazmi and starring Vivek Bhartiya and Sayali Bhagat, the rib-tickling comedy is set to release on the 7th of January.

No One Killed Jessica 
 
Set in New Delhi, 1999, this is a story of the older sister of Sabrina Lal (Vidya Balan) and a reporter (Rani Mukherji) who are normal people demanding justice by fighting the powerful elite in this thriller. 
 
Jessica is a young attractive model who is also a bartender but is unfortunately shot dead at a celebrity party by a prominent politician's drunk son, Manish, after refusing his order of more alcohol. Although there were many witnesses of this crime which should have led to a sure punishment for Manish, but money and the power card lets him off the hook which brushing the truth under the carpet. That is when Sabrina and Meera join together to outwit Manish at his own game. Will the truth prevail over money and power? That is the question!
 
Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, the thrilling drama will appear on screen on the 7th of January.

A comedy caper starring Govinda, Tusshar Kapoor, Ameesha Patel, Celina Jaitley, Rahul Dev and Upen Patel, the film is about two convicts who have plans to escape jail - a feat they successfully achieve!

Turning 30!!!
 
Moving away from the political story centered plots Prakash Jha always presents in his films, this one is a young urban love story. The film is set in Mumbai and is about a woman named Naina (Gul Panag), who as her 30th birthday approaches goes through heartbreak and a crisis in her advertising career which results in her dreading the arrival of her birthday. 
 
This woman-centric film is also slated to release on the 14th of January.

Yamla Pagla Deewana
 
The movie sees the comeback of the father and sons trio: Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby Deol.
 
The movie is about the father and son duo, Dharam Singh (Dharamji) and Gajodhar Singh (Bobby) who are notorious con-men. All is well for them until a NRI (Paramveer Singh Dhillon) played by Sunny Deol lands at their door step claiming to be a son of their family. The duo welcomes him in only to make full use of his muscle power in their heists. Meanwhile Gajodhar falls in love with Saheba (Kulraj Randhawa), only to have her snatched away by her brothers. To set things right and save the day, Paramveer concocts one crazy yet hilarious plan after another!
 
Directed by Samir Karnik, the movie will tickle your funny bones on the 14th of January.

Dhobi Ghat
 
Starring the perfectionist Aamir Khan as a painter and fresh talent, Prateik Babbar, the story is about four people in Mumbai with different backgrounds and worldviews. The audiences get a glimpse of their lives through a video diary, paintings and black and white photos, which depict the situations and emotions each member goes through as the voluminous city slowly takes over their lives.
 
Directed by Aamir's wife, Kiran Rao, the film is set to release on the 21st of January.

This is a romantic comedy starring a whole host of new actors including the lead, Anay as well as, Kurush Deboo, Gaurav Ghai, Bakul Thakkar, Farida and Archana. Anay is also the director, dialogue maker, screenplay, editor, background music director, singer and even lyricist of Happy Husbands.
 
The movie is also expected to release on the 21st of January.

Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji
 
A romantic comedy starring Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hasmi, Omi Vaidya, Shazahn Pardamsee, Shruti Hassan, and Shraddha Das in the lead roles, the film is about the lives of the three men.
 
Bank manager Naren (Ajay) has his life turned around for the better when attractive yet impulsive June (Shazahn) enters his life. Matrimonial website worker, Milind (Omi) falls in love with RJ cum actress Gungun (Shraddha), thus ending his search for true love. Abhay (Emraan), who is a bit of a ladies' man, struggles through life while working as a gym trainer to keep his pockets full.
 
Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, the film hits the big screens on January 28th.

Yeh Saali Zindagi
 
Arun (Irrfan Khan) has to save the love of his life, Priti (Chitrangda Singh) who in turn loves another man, Shyam, the future son-in-law of a powerful Minister and also in need of rescuing. Meanwhile, Kuldeep (Arunoday Singh) is a gangster on his last job. His job goes through a hiccup as he is unaware that the Ministers daughter's engagement with Shyam is off and now neither father nor daughter care if Shyam dies, leaving Kuldeep in a tiff on who would pay the ransom. Kuldeep tries desperately to save his situation. Meanwhile, there are dons coming from Bangkok, who have their own plans while Arun starts questioning himself if he should really help Priti who does not return his feelings!

Directed by Sudhir Mishra, the movie releases on the 4th of February.

The movie stars Anushka Sharma, Rishi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Prem Chopra and singer Hard Kaur.
 
The film is based on a father-son conflict focusing on the problems between expectations of immigrant parents and wants of the modern younger generation. The backdrop is the large Hindu population residing in the UK. Akshay Kumar will be seen as the lead who wants to pursue his dream of playing cricket for England and not his homeland, India, which greatly upsets his father.
 
A family drama directed by Nikhil Advani, the film is set to release on February 11th.

7 Khoon Maaf has Priyanka Chopra as the main lead who will be seen in a grey role. The film is based on the Ruskin Bon book, Susanna's Seven Husband's and has seven male leads in the roles of PC's husbands: Naseeruddin Shah, John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Irrfan Khan, Anny Kapoor, Naseerudin's youngest son Vivaan Shah and Russian actor Aleksandr Dyachenko.
 
Directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, be sure to be at the theaters on February 18th.

Directed by Vikram Bhatt, the horror film also releases on the 15th of April.

Kangna plays a Goan drug addict named Tracy who is Daggubati's love interest. Abhishek plays a fearless cop. Deepika Padukone is also to be seen performing a scintillating item number in the movie.

The star cast includes the current heartthrob, Ranbir Kapoor in a long haired look along with a new girl, Pakistani model, Nargis Fakhri. As per the title, the movie is said to revolve around the life of Ranbir who plays a rockstar while Nargis plays a dancer.
