Cast: Aditya Narayan, , Shweta Agarwal, Rahul Dev.
Director: Vikram Bhatt
The movie as it is tittled a curse, revolves around the story of two lovers that is Aditya Narayan
(Aman) and Shweta Agarwal
(Kaya), wherein Aman tries to free his love of life Kaya from the 300 years old family curse.
In the Movie the heroine that's Kaya is inficted by their legendary family curse that if she gets married or even tries to do so she'll be killed by the evil spirirt. So when her parents come to know about her love relation with Aman her parents reveal the past to them and refrain them from getting married.
Now, this where the real movie begins Aman who is deeply in love with Kaya refuses to get apart from her just by the fear of a curse, so it is then that with the help of his friend Shubham and Professor of Paranormal studies enacted by Rahul Dev
he decides to go against all odds to break the curse. And this where the real horror starts.
Basically it's a notion that when a person is cursed any eveil spirit around gets attached to it and destroys the life of every person bestowed with the curse. So the final aim of Aman is to kill the spirit and release Kaya and get her back to life.Yay..!
The direction of the movie is good, the effects that are created are very clean and quite believable. The music as well as the opening tracks of the movie is good. Even if its Adiya's debutant as an actor but as a singer he is great.Yawn..!
Even though the direction of Vikram Bhatt
is credible but the movie as a whole doesn't have the strength to hold audience attention for long. The movie just jumps from one scene to another.
So the reason for giving some credibility to the direction is that may be he was well known that Aditya as well as Shweta Agarwal
aren't that strong on their acting skills so he has shoot most fo their scenes in dark light where their expressions arent visible but that to is done brilliantly.
Also the movie lacks in its research work or has failed in executing it well. The curse is revealed in 15minutes after the movie starts which in a way just makes the movie so predictible. In short the movie lacks the feel of the genre it is meant to be that's 'horror'. And it would be more disppointing for the audience because they expect good horror from Vikram Bhatt
Yes or No..!
If you have lot of free time and money to spend and wanna have some laughs then you can go for the movie.
