Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta, who has made "Shootout At Wadala", "Musafir" and "Kaante", says that the craze to join the Rs.100 crore club is such that people are going to any length to enter that segment.

A film that earns Rs.100 crore at the box office enters the club.

"Lure of the Rs.100 crore club makes most filmmakers do strange things," Gupta posted on his Twitter page.

Recently, "Chennai Express", full on entertainer, has become the fastest film to make Rs.100 crore. It accomplished the feat in the first weekend itself.

"So 'Chennai Express' marches on. With the quickest century and three others as well we can call Rohit Shetty the (Sachin) Tendulkar of films," he wrote and added: "Shah Rukh Khan has almost hijacked all newspapers, magazines and TV. SRK and 'Chennai Express' everywhere. Maan gaye yaar."

This Sanjay Gupta guy is just jealous of SRK and his power. SRK's movies work because first he acts so good and secondly PRODUCES and WORKS in good quality films which can be watched with family. Shootout at Wadala, just the name is enough to make people not want to watch the movie due to its gangster type name. Go on and be jealous Mr.Gupta but you will also bow down to King Khan. Sad that the some people of the film industry cannot appreciate other's work due to envy.

well.. Shahrukh had done all this for RaOne also but the film failed.. so all this did not work then but for CE it did.. so basically Shahrukh can only try his best .. rest all depends on Janata .. I think marketing helps only for opening collection and rest of the days is only on the film and WOM. people should have complaint .. no one is stopped to practice all these methods
