    @NehAditya8791 - I agree with you in many ways. No one should have to suffer a daily death like he and so many others do. As family, and human beings, we naturally want to keep people with us for as long as we can. But for the person suffering, it is a very difficult life.

    Finally, you can rest in peace Shamsher Raj Kapoor, secure in the knowledge that your art and talent has left an indelible mark on the world, and that your vivacious personality has bound a million hearts around yours. You will always be loved, missed, and remembered.

    I know I may be causing a bit of controversy here by saying this, but I have to say it... In a way, I am glad Shammi ji passed away because that way he doesn't have to suffer anymore. One of my favourite actors of the yesteryears, Shammi ji was on dialysis for the past decade or so and suffered from chronic renal failure. I guess even God could not see him suffering so much, hence called him up to heaven. I am glad God eased his pain and called him up.

    However, for his family that's an entire different thing. The Kapoor clan is definitely deeply saddened, but by time I am sure they too will cope. It's nice to see how the whole of Bollywood is coming forth to show their support and condolences for them. May they get over their grief soon.

    RIP Shamsher Raj Kapoor (Shammi ji).. You will always be loved, and missed :)
