Welcome to this week's Music 'N' Masti as we take a look at the top 10 songs that have made their mark in Bollywood this week.



10. Tu Jo Jaan Le


Film: Dulha Mil Gaya
Singers: Sonu Nigam
Music: Lalit Pandit, Pritam
The lyrics aren't groundbreaking but we love the beat and as far as romantic songs go, it's not bad.


9.  Meherbaniyan


Film: Veer
Singers: Sonu Nigam
Music: Sajid-Wajid
Though the choreography of the video leaves much to be desired, the song has a nice tune and an up-beat tune which isn't always heard in Bollywood Cinema


8.  Zoobi Doobi


Film: 3 Idiots
Singers: Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal
Music: Shantanu Moitra
A little silly, a little fun, and very hard to let go off!


7. Just Do It


Film: Chance Pe Dance
Singers: Amit Kumar
Music: Ken Ghosh
Silly lyrics but therein lies the beauty of this simple upbeat song!


6. Cham Cham Jaani Rate


Film: Striker
Singers: Sonu Nigam
Music: Blaaze
Another attempt at something romantic against a background of soothing music.  Well sung by Sonu Nigam.


5. Phir Se


Film: Toh Baat Pakki!
Singers: Sonu Nigam
Something different amidst the current trends.  Slightly reminiscent of the 90's and well sung by Sonu Nigam.


4. Rang De


Film: My Name Is Khan
Singers: Mahadevan
Music: Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy
Our first entry from the My Name Is Khan soundtrack and this one is definitely a must listen!  A light tune which picks up the beat as it goes and showcases beautiful, uplifting lyrics.


3. Hey Ya


Film: Karthik Calling Karthik
Singers: Mahadevan, Cerejo, Mendosa
Music: Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Punditz
A sweet song with lovely lyrics and a funky beat that makes it all the more catchy!


2. Dil to Bachcha Hai


Film: Ishqiya
Singers: Rahat Fateh Ali Khan
Music: Vishal Bharadwaj
Don't let the title fool you!  A soothing track with lovely lyrics that remind us of the simplicity of love.


1. Noor E Khuda


Film: My Name Is Khan
Singers: Mahadevan, Sami, Ghoshal
Music: Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy
This may not attract the masses but the soothing tones and spiritual lyrics are enough to keep this song on our charts.  An amazing rendition by the singers and definitely worth listening to!

    Surilli Ankhiyon should hav been on the list for veer or Salaam Aaya.
    I watched Veer 3times. I love the scence wen salman is with zarine.
