The same, however, cannot be said for the cast and crew on sets. News has it that while the cameras were rolling on a fire sequence in the movie, the overtly sensitive smoke alarms in the structures went off. Panicking, somebody on the sets immediately called for the fire department without confirming if any actual danger was imminent. Naturally, upon arrival, nothing of significance was detected and the crew, especially the heads, were accused of a hoax.
Despite the lengthy explanation that Karan Johar and co. offered to escape any penalties, the fire cops were adamant. As a result, not only were the shooting schedules disrupted for the day, but the producers ending up paying a hefty fine of $15,000!
We hope no more such uncalled for events take place and interrupt the making of this film, which just from the signs of it, seems to be a promising one. Bollycurry for one is eagerly looking forward to the release!
