Through the BeYu Fashion Awards, our aim was to highlight the perfect synergy between beauty and fashion to create the ideal look to suit each individual's unique personality and style. I am looking forward to doing more events in Bangalore to be executed by my production house Maverick"
The event saw the designers Neeta Lulla and Krishna Mehta receiving the BeYu Fashion Awards 2009 for outstanding contribution to Indian fashion. The event was directed by Deepak Chopra and choreographed and anchored by Prasad Bidapa, India's acknowledged Fashion Guru.
The BeYu Fashion Awards 2009 showcased scintillating creations from 8 of India's most promising young designers, the theme for Saturday being 'Disco Stars' followed by the 'New Year Look' on Sunday.
The designs were presented to an eclectic mix of audience comprising industrialists, corporate honchos, socialites, sports stars, Bollywood and Kollywood actors by some of India's leading catwalk models, who walked the ramp, made up by international make-up artist Diego Schober using the latest trends and techniques and BeYu products to accentuate the models looks.
